Play together at home

Four Miss Chiki and Lelé games with things you already have. Five minutes is plenty.

  1. Where's Lelé?

    You need: a small blanket.

Cover your face and ask "Where's Mommy?" Pop out with "Here I am!" Then hide a toy under the blanket together.

    Practices: bonding and feelings

  2. Kitchen drum

You need: a pot and a wooden spoon.

Sing slowly and keep the beat: boom, boom, boom. Stop all of a sudden, stay quiet… and start again!

    Practices: rhythm and movement

  3. Mirror, mirror

    You need: a mirror.

Touch and name: nariz, ojos, boca. First in Spanish, then in English: nose, eyes, mouth. Make funny faces like Lelé.

    Practices: first words

  4. Color box

You need: three big things of the same color.

Take them out one at a time and say the name and color: "pelota roja, red ball". Let your baby touch and explore. Big, safe objects only.

    Practices: discovery and senses

Your questions, answered

What families with babies ask us most.

Can my baby watch screens?

The World Health Organization doesn't recommend screen time before age one (see the WHO guidance). That's why Miss Chiki and Lelé's songs are made to be listened to as well: play the audio, sing with your baby and use your hands. You're the best toy there is.

Will hearing Spanish and English confuse my baby?

No. Babies can learn two languages at once from birth. If they mix words later on, that's normal: it's part of learning. What helps most is hearing lots of language from people who talk to them lovingly.

I'm worried about my baby's language. What should I do?

Talk to your pediatrician: they're the best person to guide you and, if needed, refer you to a specialist. Asking early always helps. Miss Chiki and Lelé are there to keep you company and have fun, but they don't replace speech therapy.

A stage for every age

They grow up so fast, and the Chiki world grows with them.

Made for singing together

For the littlest ones, pediatricians recommend very little screen time, and always together. That's why Miss Chiki and Lelé's songs work just as well without a screen: as audio, in the car or at bath time.
